and that is what you feel when you play the game. and i think the parkitect devs will come up with lots of great ideas in the future. also in my opinion it is easier to build rides in parkitect than it is in planet coaster. Parkitect has a better learning curve i think as well. also i like the graphics more, they are more charming, the park visitors are more authentic, they look at rides, etc. parkitect has all the fuzz you need that makes a theme park game great from the beginning. More: I personally was diappointed of planet coaster because there were little to none micro management. but it only plays well on a high end machine, while parkitect plays well on my laptop (lenovo ideapad). planet coaster is a good game and maybe the best roller coaster theme park game.

Basic PC is only about ten bucks now and brand new parkitect (much different game play) is well worth the current price.

Planet Coaster feels more like a simulator game with some light park managment, I like the game but at times it can feel a bit lacking to me. Parkitect feels more like an actual game to me, and I find it really fun to play. If you have an older PC this game runs really well, I can't say the same for Planet Coaster, on my older PC that game crawls on big parks and even on my new PC which I built a month ago it still slows down on big parks. Scenery matters in this game guest don't like to see staff buiding, warehouse, etc. I love the over lays in this game which IMO is one of the best in these type of games. Its not a deal breaker mind you just a mild annoyance. In this game you have to open the tab and then delete the item and place a new one in the spot you want. There are some slight annoyances such as not being able to just select and move scenery and items. With this game simpler graphics but its possible to make great looking parks, the managment part of the game is top notch and is on par with the old RCT games. There is a ton of DLC for PC which is a good or bad thing depending on how you feel about it. The other downside of PC is that managment part is bland and lacking in many ways. Well since I own and play both games I will say this PC is great looking game, you can get crazy detailed with your parks, the only downside of this game is that if you don't own a beefy PC it starts to run really slow and the FPS takes a hit once your park gets a lot of guest in it or if you have a lot of details in your park. The videos GamesPCPlays are good to see what you can do in Parkitect, for Planet Coaster I'd recommend those 2 videos by Geekism, which show the building of a Coaster and the decoration of it. I'd recommend to look at one or two Let's play-Videos for both games. But it comes with the price of more time you need to invest to get something done. In Planet Coaster you can do all kind of stuff, your imagination is probably the only limit. Parkitect is less complex, but it's easier to achieve something and you still have a lot of tools to play with and get a nice looking park. If your goal is to manage a park while being able to customize rides, shops and create coasters in an easier (but not overly simplified) way, always with the goal of attracting more customers and making more $$$, Parkitect is your game. If you are looking for great sandbox game, where you can decide on every detail of your coasters and decorations, willing to invest more time in the building element while not having an emphasis on the management part - play Planet Coaster.
